بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ جَاعِلِ الۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةِ رُسُلاً اُولِىۡۤ اَجۡنِحَةٍ مَّثۡنٰى وَثُلٰثَ وَرُبٰعَؕ يَزِيۡدُ فِىۡ الۡخَـلۡقِ مَا يَشَآءُؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ﴿۱﴾ مَا يَفۡتَحِ اللّٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِنۡ رَّحۡمَةٍ فَلَا مُمۡسِكَ لَهَا ۚ وَمَا يُمۡسِكۡ ۙ فَلَا مُرۡسِلَ لَهٗ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِه ؕ وَهُوَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡحَكِيۡمُ﴿۲﴾ يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اذۡكُرُوۡا نِعۡمَتَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡؕ هَلۡ مِنۡ خَالِـقٍ غَيۡرُ اللّٰهِ يَرۡزُقُكُمۡ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ وَالۡاَرۡضِؕ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۖ فَاَنّٰى تُؤۡفَكُوۡنَ﴿۳﴾ وَاِنۡ يُّكَذِّبُوۡكَ فَقَدۡ كُذِّبَتۡ رُسُلٌ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِكَؕ وَاِلَى اللّٰهِ تُرۡجَعُ الۡاُمُوۡرُ﴿۴﴾ يٰۤـاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اِنَّ وَعۡدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الۡحَيٰوةُ الدُّنۡيَاوَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمۡ بِاللّٰهِ الۡغَرُوۡرُ﴿۵﴾ اِنَّ الشَّيۡطٰنَ لَـكُمۡ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوۡهُ عَدُوًّاؕ اِنَّمَا يَدۡعُوۡا حِزۡبَهٗ لِيَكُوۡنُوۡا مِنۡ اَصۡحٰبِ السَّعِيۡرِؕ﴿۶﴾ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ شَدِيۡدٌ ؕ وَّالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوۡا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُمۡ مَّغۡفِرَةٌ وَّاَجۡرٌ كَبِيۡرٌ﴿۷﴾ اَفَمَنۡ زُيِّنَ لَهٗ سُوۡٓءُ عَمَلِهٖ فَرَاٰهُ حَسَنًاؕ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُضِلُّ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِىۡ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ ۖ فَلَا تَذۡهَبۡ نَفۡسُكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَسَرٰتٍؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلِيۡمٌۢ بِمَا يَصۡنَعُوۡنَ﴿۸﴾ وَاللّٰهُ الَّذِىۡۤ اَرۡسَلَ الرِّيٰحَ فَتُثِيۡرُ سَحَابًا فَسُقۡنٰهُ اِلٰى بَلَدٍ مَّيِّتٍ فَاَحۡيَيۡنَا بِهِ الۡاَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَا ؕ كَذٰلِكَ النُّشُوۡرُ﴿۹﴾ مَنۡ كَانَ يُرِيۡدُ الۡعِزَّةَ فَلِلّٰهِ الۡعِزَّةُ جَمِيۡعًا ؕ اِلَيۡهِ يَصۡعَدُ الۡـكَلِمُ الطَّيِّبُ وَالۡعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ يَرۡفَعُهٗ ؕ وَ الَّذِيۡنَ يَمۡكُرُوۡنَ السَّيِّاٰتِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ شَدِيۡدٌ ؕ وَّمَكۡرُ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُوَ يَبُوۡرُ﴿۱۰﴾ وَاللّٰهُ خَلَقَكُمۡ مِّنۡ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِنۡ نُّطۡفَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَـكُمۡ اَزۡوَاجًا ؕ وَمَا تَحۡمِلُ مِنۡ اُنۡثٰى وَلَا تَضَعُ اِلَّا بِعِلۡمِهؕ وَمَا يُعَمَّرُ مِنۡ مُّعَمَّرٍ وَّلَا يُنۡقَصُ مِنۡ عُمُرِهٖۤ اِلَّا فِىۡ كِتٰبٍؕ اِنَّ ذٰلِكَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ يَسِيۡرٌ﴿۱۱﴾ وَمَا يَسۡتَوِىۡ الۡبَحۡرٰنِۖ هٰذَا عَذۡبٌ فُرَاتٌ سَآٮِٕغٌ شَرَابُهٗ وَ هٰذَا مِلۡحٌ اُجَاجٌؕ وَمِنۡ كُلٍّ تَاۡكُلُوۡنَ لَحۡمًا طَرِيًّا وَّتَسۡتَخۡرِجُوۡنَ حِلۡيَةً تَلۡبَسُوۡنَهَا ۚ وَتَرَى الۡـفُلۡكَ فِيۡهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبۡتَغُوۡا مِنۡ فَضۡلِهٖ وَلَعَلَّـكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُوۡنَ﴿۱۲﴾ يُوۡلِجُ الَّيۡلَ فِىۡ النَّهَارِ وَيُوۡلِجُ النَّهَارَ فِىۡ الَّيۡلِۙ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمۡسَ وَالۡقَمَرَۖ كُلٌّ يَّجۡرِىۡ لِاَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّىؕ ذٰلِكُمُ اللّٰهُ رَبُّكُمۡ لَـهُ الۡمُلۡكُؕ وَالَّذِيۡنَ تَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِهٖ مَا يَمۡلِكُوۡنَ مِنۡ قِطۡمِيۡرٍؕ﴿۱۳﴾ اِنۡ تَدۡعُوۡهُمۡ لَا يَسۡمَعُوۡا دُعَآءَكُمۡۚ وَلَوۡ سَمِعُوۡا مَا اسۡتَجَابُوۡا لَـكُمۡؕ وَيَوۡمَ الۡقِيٰمَةِ يَكۡفُرُوۡنَ بِشِرۡكِكُمۡؕ وَلَا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثۡلُ خَبِيۡرٍ﴿۱۴﴾ يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اَنۡتُمُ الۡفُقَرَآءُ اِلَى اللّٰهِۚ وَاللّٰهُ هُوَ الۡغَنِىُّ الۡحَمِيۡدُ﴿۱۵﴾ اِنۡ يَّشَاۡ يُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ وَيَاۡتِ بِخَلۡقٍ جَدِيۡدٍۚ﴿۱۶﴾ وَمَا ذٰلِكَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ بِعَزِيۡزٍ﴿۱۷﴾ وَ لَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِّزۡرَ اُخۡرَىٰؕ وَاِنۡ تَدۡعُ مُثۡقَلَةٌ اِلٰى حِمۡلِهَا لَا يُحۡمَلۡ مِنۡهُ شَىۡءٌ وَّلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبٰى ؕ اِنَّمَا تُنۡذِرُ الَّذِيۡنَ يَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُمۡ بِالۡغَيۡبِ وَاَقَامُوۡا الصَّلٰوةَ ؕ وَمَنۡ تَزَكّٰى فَاِنَّمَا يَتَزَكّٰى لِنَفۡسِه ؕ وَاِلَى اللّٰهِ الۡمَصِيۡرُ﴿۱۸﴾ وَمَا يَسۡتَوِىۡ الۡاَعۡمٰى وَالۡبَصِيۡرُۙ﴿۱۹﴾ وَلَا الظُّلُمٰتُ وَلَا النُّوۡرُۙ﴿۲۰﴾ وَلَا الظِّلُّ وَلَا الۡحَـرُوۡرُۚ﴿۲۱﴾ وَمَا يَسۡتَوِىۡ الۡاَحۡيَآءُ وَلَا الۡاَمۡوَاتُؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُسۡمِعُ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُۚ وَمَاۤ اَنۡتَ بِمُسۡمِعٍ مَّنۡ فِىۡ الۡقُبُوۡرِ﴿۲۲﴾ اِنۡ اَنۡتَ اِلَّا نَذِيۡرٌ﴿۲۳﴾ اِنَّاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنٰكَ بِالۡحَـقِّ بَشِيۡرًا وَّنَذِيۡرًاؕ وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ اُمَّةٍ اِلَّا خَلَا فِيۡهَا نَذِيۡرٌ﴿۲۴﴾ وَاِنۡ يُّكَذِّبُوۡكَ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ بِالۡبَيِّنٰتِ وَبِالزُّبُرِ وَبِالۡكِتٰبِ الۡمُنِيۡرِ﴿۲۵﴾ ثُمَّ اَخَذۡتُ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَـكِيۡرِ﴿۲۶﴾ اَلَمۡ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ اَنۡزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً ۚ فَاَخۡرَجۡنَا بِهٖ ثَمَرٰتٍ مُّخۡتَلِفًا اَلۡوَانُهَاؕ وَمِنَ الۡجِبَالِ جُدَدٌۢ بِيۡضٌ وَّحُمۡرٌ مُّخۡتَلِفٌ اَلۡوَانُهَا وَغَرَابِيۡبُ سُوۡدٌ﴿۲۷﴾ وَمِنَ النَّاسِ وَالدَّوَآبِّ وَالۡاَنۡعَامِ مُخۡتَلِفٌ اَلۡوانُهٗ كَذٰلِكَ ؕ اِنَّمَا يَخۡشَى اللّٰهَ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِ الۡعُلَمٰٓؤُاؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَزِيۡزٌ غَفُوۡرٌ﴿۲۸﴾ اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ يَتۡلُوۡنَ كِتٰبَ اللّٰهِ وَاَقَامُوۡا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاَنۡفَقُوۡا مِمَّا رَزَقۡنٰهُمۡ سِرًّا وَّعَلَانِيَةً يَّرۡجُوۡنَ تِجَارَةً لَّنۡ تَبُوۡرَۙ﴿۲۹﴾ لِيُوَفِّيَهُمۡ اُجُوۡرَهُمۡ وَيَزِيۡدَهُمۡ مِّنۡ فَضۡلِه ؕ اِنَّهٗ غَفُوۡرٌ شَكُوۡرٌ﴿۳۰﴾ وَالَّذِىۡۤ اَوۡحَيۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ مِنَ الۡكِتٰبِ هُوَ الۡحَـقُّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِعِبَادِهٖ لَخَبِيۡرٌۢ بَصِيۡرٌ﴿۳۱﴾ ثُمَّ اَوۡرَثۡنَا الۡكِتٰبَ الَّذِيۡنَ اصۡطَفَيۡنَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَاۚ فَمِنۡهُمۡ ظَالِمٌ لِّنَفۡسِهٖۚ وَمِنۡهُمۡ مُّقۡتَصِدٌ ۚ وَمِنۡهُمۡ سَابِقٌۢ بِالۡخَيۡرٰتِ بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰهِؕ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الۡفَضۡلُ الۡكَبِيۡرُؕ﴿۳۲﴾ جَنّٰتُ عَدۡنٍ يَّدۡخُلُوۡنَهَا يُحَلَّوۡنَ فِيۡهَا مِنۡ اَسَاوِرَ مِنۡ ذَهَبٍ وَّلُـؤۡلُؤًا ۚ وَلِبَاسُهُمۡ فِيۡهَا حَرِيۡرٌ﴿۳۳﴾ وَقَالُوۡا الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِىۡۤ اَذۡهَبَ عَـنَّا الۡحَزَنَؕ اِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَـغَفُوۡرٌ شَكُوۡرُۙ﴿۳۴﴾ اۨلَّذِىۡۤ اَحَلَّنَا دَارَ الۡمُقَامَةِ مِنۡ فَضۡلِهٖۚ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيۡهَا نَصَبٌ وَّلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيۡهَا لُـغُوۡبٌ﴿۳۵﴾ وَالَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا لَهُمۡ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَۚ لَا يُقۡضٰى عَلَيۡهِمۡ فَيَمُوۡتُوۡا وَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنۡهُمۡ مِّنۡ عَذَابِهَا ؕ كَذٰلِكَ نَـجۡزِىۡ كُلَّ كَفُوۡرٍۚ﴿۳۶﴾ وَهُمۡ يَصۡطَرِخُوۡنَ فِيۡهَا ۚ رَبَّنَاۤ اَخۡرِجۡنَا نَـعۡمَلۡ صَالِحًـا غَيۡرَ الَّذِىۡ كُـنَّا نَـعۡمَلُؕ اَوَلَمۡ نُعَمِّرۡكُمۡ مَّا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيۡهِ مَنۡ تَذَكَّرَ وَجَآءَكُمُ النَّذِيۡرُؕ فَذُوۡقُوۡا فَمَا لِلظّٰلِمِيۡنَ مِنۡ نَّصِيۡرٍ﴿۳۷﴾ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عٰلِمُ غَيۡبِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِؕ اِنَّهٗ عَلِيۡمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوۡرِ﴿۳۸﴾ هُوَ الَّذِىۡ جَعَلَـكُمۡ خَلٰٓٮِٕفَ فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِؕ فَمَنۡ كَفَرَ فَعَلَيۡهِ كُفۡرُهٗؕ وَلَا يَزِيۡدُ الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ كُفۡرُهُمۡ عِنۡدَ رَبِّهِمۡ اِلَّا مَقۡتًاۚ وَلَا يَزِيۡدُ الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ كُفۡرُهُمۡ اِلَّا خَسَارًا﴿۳۹﴾ قُلۡ اَرَءَيۡتُمۡ شُرَكَآءَكُمُ الَّذِيۡنَ تَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِؕ اَرُوۡنِىۡ مَاذَا خَلَقُوۡا مِنَ الۡاَرۡضِ اَمۡ لَهُمۡ شِرۡكٌ فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِۚ اَمۡ اٰتَيۡنٰهُمۡ كِتٰبًا فَهُمۡ عَلٰى بَيِّنَتٍ مِّنۡهُ ۚ بَلۡ اِنۡ يَّعِدُ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ بَعۡضًا اِلَّا غُرُوۡرًا﴿۴۰﴾ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُمۡسِكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ اَنۡ تَزُوۡلَا ۚ وَلَٮِٕنۡ زَالَــتَاۤ اِنۡ اَمۡسَكَهُمَا مِنۡ اَحَدٍ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِهٖ ؕ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ حَلِيۡمًا غَفُوۡرًا﴿۴۱﴾ وَاَقۡسَمُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ جَهۡدَ اَيۡمَانِهِمۡ لَٮِٕنۡ جَآءَهُمۡ نَذِيۡرٌ لَّيَكُوۡنُنَّ اَهۡدٰى مِنۡ اِحۡدَى الۡاُمَمِۚ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ نَذِيۡرٌ مَّا زَادَهُمۡ اِلَّا نُفُوۡرًاۙ﴿۴۲﴾ اۨسۡتِكۡبَارًا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ وَمَكۡرَ السَّيّیٴِؕ وَلَا يَحِيۡقُ الۡمَكۡرُ السَّيِّـئُ اِلَّا بِاَهۡلِهٖ ؕ فَهَلۡ يَنۡظُرُوۡنَ اِلَّا سُنَّتَ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَۚ فَلَنۡ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللّٰهِ تَبۡدِيۡلاً ۚ وَلَنۡ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللّٰهِ تَحۡوِيۡلاً﴿۴۳﴾ اَوَلَمۡ يَسِيۡرُوۡا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ فَيَنۡظُرُوۡا كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَكَانُوۡۤا اَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةً ؕ وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيُعۡجِزَهٗ مِنۡ شَىۡءٍ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَلَا فِى الۡاَرۡضِؕ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ عَلِيۡمًا قَدِيۡرًا﴿۴۴﴾ وَلَوۡ يُؤَاخِذُ اللّٰهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوۡا مَا تَرَكَ عَلٰى ظَهۡرِهَا مِنۡ دَآ بَّةٍ وَّلٰـكِنۡ يُّؤَخِّرُهُمۡ اِلٰٓى اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّىۚ فَاِذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُهُمۡ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهٖ بَصِيۡرَا﴿۴۵﴾

Name:فاطر, الملائكة, Fatir, Al-Mala’ika
Two names of this Surah. Both names are taken from Verse 1 where there is a mention of “Fatir and Malaika”.
١ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ جَاعِلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَثْنَىٰ وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ ۚ يَزِيدُ فِي الْخَلْقِ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
1 [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah is above all things competent.
But It does not mean that this name is the actual topic discussed in the whole Surah. It is just a reference and mark/symbol to distinguish this Surah from others as is with most other Surahs of the Quran. While there are diversified topics discussed in these Surahs.

Surah Key Verses
١ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ جَاعِلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَثْنَىٰ وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ ۚ يَزِيدُ فِي الْخَلْقِ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
1 [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah is above all things competent.
٩ وَاللَّهُ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ الرِّيَاحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابًا فَسُقْنَاهُ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍ مَيِّتٍ فَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ النُّشُورُ
9 And it is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and We drive them to a dead land and give life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Thus is the resurrection.
١١ وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا ۚ وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنْثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلْمِهِ ۚ وَمَا يُعَمَّرُ مِنْ مُعَمَّرٍ وَلَا يُنْقَصُ مِنْ عُمُرِهِ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ
11 And Allah created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop; then He made you mates. And no female conceives nor does she give birth except with His knowledge. And no aged person is granted [additional] life nor is his lifespan lessened but that it is in a register. Indeed, that for Allah is easy.
١٢ وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْبَحْرَانِ هَٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ سَائِغٌ شَرَابُهُ وَهَٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ ۖ وَمِنْ كُلٍّ تَأْكُلُونَ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُونَ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا ۖ وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ فِيهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
12 And not alike are the two bodies of water. One is fresh and sweet, palatable for drinking, and one is salty and bitter. And from each, you eat tender meat and extract ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships plowing through [them] that you might seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful.
٤٣ اسْتِكْبَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ السَّيِّئِ ۚ وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ ۚ فَهَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ الْأَوَّلِينَ ۚ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا ۖ وَلَنْ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا
43 [Due to] arrogance in the land and plotting of evil; but the evil plot does not encompass except its own people. Then do they await except the way of the former peoples? But you will never find in the way of Allah any change, and you will never find in the way of Allah any alteration.

Explanation And Back Ground
This Surah has 45 verses divided into 5 Rukus/Sections. This Surah was revealed in Mecca in the middle period of the Prophet’s preaching at Mecca at a time when the opposition of Meccans have become much strong and persecution of early followers of the Prophet already started. The name of this Surah is taken from verse 1 where there is a mention of the word “Fatir” Originator, which states the creating powers of God. This Surah is also called “Al Malaika” Angels also from Verse 1 where there is mention of Angels and their power/wings and abilities to perform different tasks on God’s command.
The emphasis of the Surah is on “Tawhid and admonishing the people of not believing in the Prophet’s message by giving them food for thought to just look around themselves and think if all this is created by itself. And that it is God only who not only created all this alone but also preserving and maintaining all that.
In a narration from the Holy Prophet PBUH, it is said that 3 doors of Paradise will be opened for the one who recites this Surah (And Fully Acts Upon it). That person will be able to access through whichever passage he pleases. In a second narration, it is said that the eight doors of Paradise will open to him and he will be permitted to enter through whichever he pleases.
