بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
عٓسٓقٓ﴿۲﴾ كَذٰلِكَ يُوۡحِىۡۤ اِلَيۡكَ وَاِلَى الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِكَۙ اللّٰهُ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡحَكِيۡمُ﴿۳﴾ لَهٗ مَا فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِؕ وَهُوَ الۡعَلِىُّ الۡعَظِيۡمُ﴿۴﴾ تَـكَادُ السَّمٰوٰتُ يَتَفَطَّرۡنَ مِنۡ فَوۡقِهِنَّ وَالۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةُ يُسَبِّحُوۡنَ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَيَسۡتَغۡفِرُوۡنَ لِمَنۡ فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِؕ اَلَاۤ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الۡغَفُوۡرُ الرَّحِيۡمُ﴿۵﴾ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اتَّخَذُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِهٖۤ اَوۡلِيَآءَ اللّٰهُ حَفِيۡظٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ وَمَاۤ اَنۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ بِوَكِيۡلٍ﴿۶﴾ وَكَذٰلِكَ اَوۡحَيۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ قُرۡاٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّتُنۡذِرَ اُمَّ الۡقُرٰى وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَهَا وَتُنۡذِرَ يَوۡمَ الۡجَمۡعِ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيۡهِؕ فَرِيۡقٌ فِىۡ الۡجَنَّةِ وَفَرِيۡقٌ فِىۡ السَّعِيۡرِ﴿۷﴾ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ لَجَعَلَهُمۡ اُمَّةً وَّاحِدَةً وَّلٰـكِنۡ يُّدۡخِلُ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ فِىۡ رَحۡمَتِهٖؕ وَالظّٰلِمُوۡنَ مَا لَهُمۡ مِّنۡ وَّلِىٍّ وَّلَا نَصِيۡرٍ﴿۸﴾ اَمِ اتَّخَذُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِهٖۤ اَوۡلِيَآءَۚ فَاللّٰهُ هُوَ الۡوَلِىُّ وَهُوَ يُحۡىِ الۡمَوۡتٰى وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ﴿۹﴾ وَمَا اخۡتَلَفۡتُمۡ فِيۡهِ مِنۡ شَىۡءٍ فَحُكۡمُهٗۤ اِلَى اللّٰهِؕ ذٰلِكُمُ اللّٰهُ رَبِّىۡ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُۖ وَاِلَيۡهِ اُنِيۡبُ﴿۱۰﴾ فَاطِرُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِؕ جَعَلَ لَـكُمۡ مِّنۡ اَنۡفُسِكُمۡ اَزۡوَاجًا وَّ مِنَ الۡاَنۡعَامِ اَزۡوَاجًاۚ يَّذۡرَؤُكُمۡ فِيۡهِؕ لَيۡسَ كَمِثۡلِهٖ شَىۡءٌۚ وَّهُوَ السَّمِيۡعُ الۡبَصِيۡرُ﴿۱۱﴾ لَهٗ مَقَالِيۡدُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِۚ يَبۡسُطُ الرِّزۡقَ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُؕ اِنَّهٗ بِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ عَلِيۡمٌ﴿۱۲﴾ شَرَعَ لَكُمۡ مِّنَ الدِّيۡنِ مَا وَصّٰى بِهٖ نُوۡحًا وَّالَّذِىۡۤ اَوۡحَيۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ وَمَا وَصَّيۡنَا بِهٖۤ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَمُوۡسٰى وَعِيۡسٰٓى اَنۡ اَقِيۡمُوۡا الدِّيۡنَ وَ لَا تَتَفَرَّقُوۡا فِيۡهِؕ كَبُرَ عَلَى الۡمُشۡرِكِيۡنَ مَا تَدۡعُوۡهُمۡ اِلَيۡهِؕ اللّٰهُ يَجۡتَبِىۡۤ اِلَيۡهِ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ وَيَهۡدِىۡۤ اِلَيۡهِ مَنۡ يُّنِيۡبُ﴿۱۳﴾ وَمَا تَفَرَّقُوۡۤا اِلَّا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ الۡعِلۡمُ بَغۡيًاۢ بَيۡنَهُمۡؕ وَلَوۡلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتۡ مِنۡ رَّبِّكَ اِلٰٓى اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى لَّقُضِىَ بَيۡنَهُمۡؕ وَ اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡرِثُوۡا الۡكِتٰبَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ لَفِىۡ شَكٍّ مِّنۡهُ مُرِيۡبٍ﴿۱۴﴾ فَلِذٰلِكَ فَادۡعُ ۚ وَاسۡتَقِمۡ كَمَاۤ اُمِرۡتَۚ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ اَهۡوَآءَهُمۡۚ وَقُلۡ اٰمَنۡتُ بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ مِنۡ كِتٰبٍۚ وَّاُمِرۡتُ لِاَعۡدِلَ بَيۡنَكُمُؕ اللّٰهُ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمۡؕ لَـنَاۤ اَعۡمَالُـنَا وَلَـكُمۡ اَعۡمَالُكُمۡۚ لَا حُجَّةَ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَكُمُؕ اللّٰهُ يَجۡمَعُ بَيۡنَنَاۚ وَاِلَيۡهِ الۡمَصِيۡرُؕ﴿۱۵﴾ وَالَّذِيۡنَ يُحَآجُّوۡنَ فِىۡ اللّٰهِ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَا اسۡتُجِيۡبَ لَهٗ حُجَّتُهُمۡ دَاحِضَةٌ عِنۡدَ رَبِّهِمۡ وَعَلَيۡهِمۡ غَضَبٌ وَّلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ شَدِيۡدٌ﴿۱۶﴾ اللّٰهُ الَّذِىۡۤ اَنۡزَلَ الۡكِتٰبَ بِالۡحَقِّ وَالۡمِيۡزَانَؕ وَمَا يُدۡرِيۡكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ قَرِيۡبٌ﴿۱۷﴾ يَسۡتَعۡجِلُ بِهَا الَّذِيۡنَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِهَاۚ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مُشۡفِقُوۡنَ مِنۡهَاۙ وَيَعۡلَمُوۡنَ اَنَّهَا الۡحَقُّ ؕ اَلَاۤ اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ يُمَارُوۡنَ فِىۡ السَّاعَةِ لَفِىۡ ضَلٰلٍۢ بَعِيۡدٍ﴿۱۸﴾ اللّٰهُ لَطِيۡفٌۢ بِعِبَادِهٖ يَرۡزُقُ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُۚ وَهُوَ الۡقَوِىُّ الۡعَزِيۡزُ﴿۱۹﴾ مَنۡ كَانَ يُرِيۡدُ حَرۡثَ الۡاٰخِرَةِ نَزِدۡ لَهٗ فِىۡ حَرۡثِهٖۚ وَمَنۡ كَانَ يُرِيۡدُ حَرۡثَ الدُّنۡيَا نُؤۡتِهٖ مِنۡهَا وَمَا لَهٗ فِىۡ الۡاٰخِرَةِ مِنۡ نَّصِيۡبٍ﴿۲۰﴾ اَمۡ لَهُمۡ شُرَكٰٓؤُا شَرَعُوۡا لَهُمۡ مِّنَ الدِّيۡنِ مَا لَمۡ يَاۡذَنۡۢ بِهِ اللّٰهُؕ وَلَوۡلَا كَلِمَةُ الۡفَصۡلِ لَقُضِىَ بَيۡنَهُمۡؕ وَاِنَّ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَلِيۡمٌ﴿۲۱﴾ تَرَى الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ مُشۡفِقِيۡنَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوۡا وَهُوَ وَاقِعٌۢ بِهِمۡؕ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوۡا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فِىۡ رَوۡضٰتِ الۡجَـنّٰتِۚ لَهُمۡ مَّا يَشَآءُوۡنَ عِنۡدَ رَبِّهِمۡؕ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الۡفَضۡلُ الۡكَبِيۡرُ﴿۲۲﴾ ذٰلِكَ الَّذِىۡ يُبَشِّرُ اللّٰهُ عِبَادَهُ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوۡا الصّٰلِحٰتِؕ قُل لَّاۤ اَسۡـٔـَلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ اَجۡرًا اِلَّا الۡمَوَدَّةَ فِىۡ الۡقُرۡبٰىؕ وَمَنۡ يَّقۡتَرِفۡ حَسَنَةً نَّزِدۡ لَهٗ فِيۡهَا حُسۡنًاؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوۡرٌ شَكُوۡرٌ﴿۲۳﴾ اَمۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ افۡتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًاۚ فَاِنۡ يَّشَاِ اللّٰهُ يَخۡتِمۡ عَلٰى قَلۡبِكَؕ وَيَمۡحُ اللّٰهُ الۡبَاطِلَ وَيُحِقُّ الۡحَقَّ بِكَلِمٰتِهٖۤؕ اِنَّهٗ عَلِيۡمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوۡرِ﴿۲۴﴾ وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡ يَقۡبَلُ التَّوۡبَةَ عَنۡ عِبَادِهٖ وَيَعۡفُوۡا عَنِ السَّيِّاٰتِ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا تَفۡعَلُوۡنَۙ﴿۲۵﴾ وَيَسۡتَجِيۡبُ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوۡا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَيَزِيۡدُهُمۡ مِّنۡ فَضۡلِهٖؕ وَالۡكٰفِرُوۡنَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ شَدِيۡدٌ﴿۲۶﴾ وَلَوۡ بَسَطَ اللّٰهُ الرِّزۡقَ لِعِبَادِهٖ لَبَغَوۡا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ وَلٰكِنۡ يُّنَزِّلُ بِقَدَرٍ مَّا يَشَآءُ ؕ اِنَّهٗ بِعِبَادِهٖ خَبِيۡرٌۢ بَصِيۡرٌ﴿۲۷﴾ وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡ يُنَزِّلُ الۡغَيۡثَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَا قَنَطُوۡا وَيَنۡشُرُ رَحۡمَتَهٗؕ وَهُوَ الۡوَلِىُّ الۡحَمِيۡدُ﴿۲۸﴾ وَ مِنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖ خَلۡقُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَثَّ فِيۡهِمَا مِنۡ دَآبَّةٍؕ وَهُوَ عَلٰى جَمۡعِهِمۡ اِذَا يَشَآءُ قَدِيۡرٌ﴿۲۹﴾ وَمَاۤ اَصَابَكُمۡ مِّنۡ مُّصِيۡبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتۡ اَيۡدِيۡكُمۡ وَيَعۡفُوۡا عَنۡ كَثِيۡرٍؕ﴿۳۰﴾ وَمَاۤ اَنۡتُمۡ بِمُعۡجِزِيۡنَ فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ ۖۚ وَمَا لَـكُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ مِنۡ وَّلِىٍّ وَّلَا نَصِيۡرٍ﴿۳۱﴾ وَمِنۡ اٰيٰتِهِ الۡجَوَارِ فِىۡ الۡبَحۡرِ كَالۡاَعۡلَامِؕ﴿۳۲﴾ اِنۡ يَّشَاۡ يُسۡكِنِ الرِّيۡحَ فَيَظۡلَلۡنَ رَوَاكِدَ عَلٰى ظَهۡرِهٖؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّـكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُوۡرٍۙ﴿۳۳﴾ اَوۡ يُوۡبِقۡهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُوۡا وَيَعۡفُ عَنۡ كَثِيۡرٍ﴿۳۴﴾ وَّيَعۡلَمَ الَّذِيۡنَ يُجَادِلُوۡنَ فِىۡۤ اٰيٰتِنَاؕ مَا لَهُمۡ مِّنۡ مَّحِيۡصٍ﴿۳۵﴾ فَمَاۤ اُوۡتِيۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ شَىۡءٍ فَمَتَاعُ الۡحَيٰوةِ الدُّنۡيَاۚ وَمَا عِنۡدَ اللّٰهِ خَيۡرٌ وَّاَبۡقٰى لِلَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَلٰى رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُوۡنَۚ﴿۳۶﴾ وَالَّذِيۡنَ يَجۡتَنِبُوۡنَ كَبٰٓٮِٕرَ الۡاِثۡمِ وَالۡفَوَاحِشَ وَاِذَا مَا غَضِبُوۡا هُمۡ يَغۡفِرُوۡنَۚ﴿۳۷﴾ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اسۡتَجَابُوۡا لِرَبِّهِمۡ وَاَقَامُوۡا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاَمۡرُهُمۡ شُوۡرٰى بَيۡنَهُمۡ وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنٰهُمۡ يُنۡفِقُوۡنَۚ﴿۳۸﴾ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اِذَاۤ اَصَابَهُمُ الۡبَغۡىُ هُمۡ يَنۡتَصِرُوۡنَ﴿۳۹﴾ وَجَزٰٓؤُا سَيِّئَةٍ سَيِّئَةٌ مِّثۡلُهَاۚ فَمَنۡ عَفَا وَاَصۡلَحَ فَاَجۡرُهٗ عَلَى اللّٰهِؕ اِنَّهٗ لَا يُحِبُّ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ﴿۴۰﴾ وَلَمَنِ انتَصَرَ بَعۡدَ ظُلۡمِهٖ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ مَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ مِّنۡ سَبِيۡلٍؕ﴿۴۱﴾ اِنَّمَا السَّبِيۡلُ عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ يَظۡلِمُوۡنَ النَّاسَ وَ يَبۡغُوۡنَ فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ الۡحَقِّؕ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَلِيۡمٌ﴿۴۲﴾ وَلَمَنۡ صَبَرَ وَغَفَرَ اِنَّ ذٰلِكَ لَمِنۡ عَزۡمِ الۡاُمُوۡرِ﴿۴۳﴾ وَمَنۡ يُّضۡلِلِ اللّٰهُ فَمَا لَهٗ مِنۡ وَّلِىٍّ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِهٖ ؕ وَتَرَى الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ لَمَّا رَاَوُا الۡعَذَابَ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ هَلۡ اِلٰى مَرَدٍّ مِّنۡ سَبِيۡلٍۚ﴿۴۴﴾ وَتَرٰٮهُمۡ يُعۡرَضُوۡنَ عَلَيۡهَا خٰشِعِيۡنَ مِنَ الذُّلِّ يَنۡظُرُوۡنَ مِنۡ طَرۡفٍ خَفِىٍّؕ وَقَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنَّ الۡخٰسِرِيۡنَ الَّذِيۡنَ خَسِرُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَهُمۡ وَاَهۡلِيۡهِمۡ يَوۡمَ الۡقِيٰمَةِؕ اَلَاۤ اِنَّ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ فِىۡ عَذَابٍ مُّقِيۡمٍ﴿۴۵﴾ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُمۡ مِّنۡ اَوۡلِيَآءَ يَنۡصُرُوۡنَهُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِؕ وَمَنۡ يُّضۡلِلِ اللّٰهُ فَمَا لَهٗ مِنۡ سَبِيۡلٍؕ﴿۴۶﴾ اِسۡتَجِيۡبُوۡا لِرَبِّكُمۡ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِ اَنۡ يَّاۡتِىَ يَوۡمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهٗ مِنَ اللّٰهِؕ مَا لَكُمۡ مِّنۡ مَّلۡجَاٍ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ وَّمَا لَكُمۡ مِّنۡ نَّكِيۡرٍ﴿۴۷﴾ فَاِنۡ اَعۡرَضُوۡا فَمَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنٰكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَفِيۡظًاؕ اِنۡ عَلَيۡكَ اِلَّا الۡبَلٰغُ ؕ وَاِنَّاۤ اِذَاۤ اَذَقۡنَا الۡاِنۡسَانَ مِنَّا رَحۡمَةً فَرِحَ بِهَاۚ وَاِنۡ تُصِبۡهُمۡ سَيِّئَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ فَاِنَّ الۡاِنۡسَانَ كَفُوۡرٌ﴿۴۸﴾ لِّلَّهِ مُلۡكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِؕ يَخۡلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُؕ يَهَبُ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ اِنَاثًا وَّيَهَبُ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ الذُّكُوۡرَۙ﴿۴۹﴾ اَوۡ يُزَوِّجُهُمۡ ذُكۡرَانًا وَّاِنَاثًا ۚ وَيَجۡعَلُ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ عَقِيۡمًاؕ اِنَّهٗ عَلِيۡمٌ قَدِيۡرٌ﴿۵۰﴾ وَمَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ اَنۡ يُّكَلِّمَهُ اللّٰهُ اِلَّا وَحۡيًا اَوۡ مِنۡ وَّرَآىٴِ حِجَابٍ اَوۡ يُرۡسِلَ رَسُوۡلاً فَيُوۡحِىَ بِاِذۡنِهٖ مَا يَشَآءُؕ اِنَّهٗ عَلِىٌّ حَكِيۡمٌ﴿۵۱﴾ وَكَذٰلِكَ اَوۡحَيۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ رُوۡحًا مِّنۡ اَمۡرِنَا ؕ مَا كُنۡتَ تَدۡرِىۡ مَا الۡكِتٰبُ وَلَا الۡاِيۡمَانُ وَلٰكِنۡ جَعَلۡنٰهُ نُوۡرًا نَّهۡدِىۡ بِهٖ مَنۡ نَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَاؕ وَاِنَّكَ لَتَهۡدِىۡۤ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِيۡمٍۙ﴿۵۲﴾ صِرَاطِ اللّٰهِ الَّذِىۡ لَهٗ مَا فِىۡ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِؕ اَلَاۤ اِلَى اللّٰهِ تَصِيۡرُ الۡاُمُوۡرُ﴿۵۳﴾

٣٨ وَالَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَمْرُهُمْ شُورَىٰ بَيْنَهُمْ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنْفِقُونَ
38 And those who have responded to their lord and established prayer and whose affair is [determined by] consultation among themselves, and from what We have provided them, they spend.

Surah Key Verses
٥ تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْ فَوْقِهِنَّ ۚ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
5 The heavens almost break from above them, and the angels exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on earth. Unquestionably, it is Allah who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
١٤ وَمَا تَفَرَّقُوا إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِنْ رَبِّكَ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ أُورِثُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِنْهُ مُرِيبٍ
14 And they did not become divided until after knowledge had come to them – out of jealous animosity between themselves. And if not for a word that preceded from your Lord [postponing the penalty] until a specified time, it would have been concluded between them. And indeed, those who were granted inheritance of the Scripture after them are, concerning it, in disquieting doubt.
٢٩ وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَثَّ فِيهِمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ ۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ جَمْعِهِمْ إِذَا يَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ
29 And of his signs is the creation of the heavens and earth and what He has dispersed throughout them of creatures. And He, for gathering them when He wills, is competent.
٣٠ وَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُو عَنْ كَثِيرٍ
30 And whatever strikes you of disaster – it is for what your hands have earned, but He pardons much.
٤٩ لِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ يَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ إِنَاثًا وَيَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ الذُّكُورَ
49 To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He creates what he wills. He gives to whom He wills female [children], and He gives to whom He wills males.
٥٠ أَوْ يُزَوِّجُهُمْ ذُكْرَانًا وَإِنَاثًا ۖ وَيَجْعَلُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ عَقِيمًا ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ
50 Or He makes them [both] males and females, and He renders whom He wills barren. Indeed, He is Knowing and Competent.

Explanation And Back Ground
This Surah has 53 verses divided into 5 Rukus/Sections. The name of the Surah comes from the word “Ash-Shura” in verse 38 which means consultation. As discussed in the previous Surah summary this surah is a part of seven Surahs of Quran starting from Surah Ghafir and ending at Surah Ahqaf that begin with the word “حم”. These letters are called Mystery Abbreviated Letters OR Hurrof Al Muqattat. A brief introduction of which is already given in Quran Statistics & Facts.
This Surah was revealed in Mecca at the same time as Surah Ghafir and Fussilat before the migration of Habsha Abyssinia took place. This Surah speaks about the reason for sending the Quran and that the religion with which Muhammad has been sent is the same religion given to previous prophets. The surah describes the signs and powers of God’s sovereignty throughout heaven and earth and within human beings. It is told that God has kept the destinies of the people in His own hand. The Prophet has come only to arouse the heedless and guide the strayed ones to the Right Path. But you have given full right to either accept or reject this guidance but in that case, be ready to meet with the same fate which has been destined by God for such criminals.
The Prophet PBUH said that the one who recites Surah Shura will be from among those people on whom the angels send greetings and pray for their forgiveness.
