بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
اَلۡحَـآقَّةُۙ﴿۱﴾ مَا الۡحَـآقَّةُۚ﴿۲﴾ وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا الۡحَــآقَّةُؕ﴿۳﴾ كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُوۡدُ وَعَادٌۢ بِالۡقَارِعَةِ﴿۴﴾ فَاَمَّا ثَمُوۡدُ فَاُهۡلِكُوۡا بِالطَّاغِيَةِ﴿۵﴾ وَاَمَّا عَادٌ فَاُهۡلِكُوۡا بِرِيۡحٍ صَرۡصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٍۙ﴿۶﴾ سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سَبۡعَ لَيَالٍ وَّثَمٰنِيَةَ اَيَّامٍۙ حُسُوۡمًا ۙ فَتَرَى الۡقَوۡمَ فِيۡهَا صَرۡعٰىۙ كَاَنَّهُمۡ اَعۡجَازُ نَخۡلٍ خَاوِيَةٍۚ﴿۷﴾ فَهَلۡ تَرٰى لَهُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَاقِيَةٍ﴿۸﴾ وَجَآءَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَمَنۡ قَبۡلَهٗ وَالۡمُؤۡتَفِكٰتُ بِالۡخَـاطِئَةِۚ﴿۹﴾ فَعَصَوۡا رَسُوۡلَ رَبِّهِمۡ فَاَخَذَهُمۡ اَخۡذَةً رَّابِيَةً﴿۱۰﴾ اِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا الۡمَآءُ حَمَلۡنٰكُمۡ فِىۡ الۡجَارِيَةِۙ﴿۱۱﴾ لِنَجۡعَلَهَا لَـكُمۡ تَذۡكِرَةً وَّتَعِيَهَاۤ اُذُنٌ وَّاعِيَةٌ﴿۱۲﴾ فَاِذَا نُفِخَ فِىۡ الصُّوۡرِ نَفۡخَةٌ وَّاحِدَةٌ ۙ﴿۱۳﴾ وَحُمِلَتِ الۡاَرۡضُ وَ الۡجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةً وَّاحِدَةً ۙ﴿۱۴﴾ فَيَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ وَّقَعَتِ الۡوَاقِعَةُۙ﴿۱۵﴾ وَانْشَقَّتِ السَّمَآءُ فَهِىَ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ وَّاهِيَةٌۙ﴿۱۶﴾ وَالۡمَلَكُ عَلٰٓى اَرۡجَآٮِٕهَاؕ وَيَحۡمِلُ عَرۡشَ رَبِّكَ فَوۡقَهُمۡ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ ثَمٰنِيَةٌ ؕ﴿۱۷﴾ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ تُعۡرَضُوۡنَ لَا تَخۡفٰى مِنۡكُمۡ خَافِيَةٌ﴿۱۸﴾ فَاَمَّا مَنۡ اُوۡتِىَ كِتٰبَهٗ بِيَمِيۡنِهٖۙ فَيَقُوۡلُ هَآؤُمُ اقۡرَءُوۡا كِتٰبِيَهۡۚ﴿۱۹﴾ اِنِّىۡ ظَنَنۡتُ اَنِّىۡ مُلٰقٍ حِسَابِيَهۡۚ﴿۲۰﴾ فَهُوَ فِىۡ عِيۡشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍۙ﴿۲۱﴾ فِىۡ جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍۙ﴿۲۲﴾ قُطُوۡفُهَا دَانِيَةٌ﴿۲۳﴾ كُلُوۡا وَاشۡرَبُوۡا هَنِيۡٓــًٔاۢ بِمَاۤ اَسۡلَفۡتُمۡ فِىۡ الۡاَيَّامِ الۡخَـالِيَةِ﴿۲۴﴾ وَاَمَّا مَنۡ اُوۡتِىَ كِتٰبَهٗ بِشِمَالِهٖ ۙ فَيَقُوۡلُ يٰلَيۡتَنِىۡ لَمۡ اُوۡتَ كِتٰبِيَهۡۚ﴿۲۵﴾ وَلَمۡ اَدۡرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهۡۚ﴿۲۶﴾ يٰلَيۡتَهَا كَانَتِ الۡقَاضِيَةَۚ﴿۲۷﴾ مَاۤ اَغۡنٰى عَنِّىۡ مَالِيَهۡۚ﴿۲۸﴾ هَلَكَ عَنِّىۡ سُلۡطٰنِيَهۡۚ﴿۲۹﴾ خُذُوۡهُ فَغُلُّوۡهُۙ﴿۳۰﴾ ثُمَّ الۡجَحِيۡمَ صَلُّوۡهُۙ﴿۳۱﴾ ثُمَّ فِىۡ سِلۡسِلَةٍ ذَرۡعُهَا سَبۡعُوۡنَ ذِرَاعًا فَاسۡلُكُوۡهُؕ﴿۳۲﴾ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِاللّٰهِ الۡعَظِيۡمِۙ﴿۳۳﴾ وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلٰى طَعَامِ الۡمِسۡكِيۡنِؕ﴿۳۴﴾ فَلَيۡسَ لَـهُ الۡيَوۡمَ هٰهُنَا حَمِيۡمٌۙ﴿۳۵﴾ وَّلَا طَعَامٌ اِلَّا مِنۡ غِسۡلِيۡنٍۙ﴿۳۶﴾ لَّا يَاۡكُلُهٗۤ اِلَّا الۡخٰطِئُوْنَ﴿۳۷﴾ فَلَاۤ اُقۡسِمُ بِمَا تُبۡصِرُوۡنَۙ﴿۳۸﴾ وَمَا لَا تُبۡصِرُوۡنَۙ﴿۳۹﴾ اِنَّهٗ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُوۡلٍ كَرِيۡمٍۚ ۙ﴿۴۰﴾ وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَاعِرٍؕ قَلِيۡلاً مَّا تُؤۡمِنُوۡنَۙ﴿۴۱﴾ وَلَا بِقَوۡلِ كَاهِنٍؕ قَلِيۡلاً مَّا تَذَكَّرُوۡنَؕ﴿۴۲﴾ تَنۡزِيۡلٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ﴿۴۳﴾ وَلَوۡ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيۡنَا بَعۡضَ الۡاَقَاوِيۡلِۙ﴿۴۴﴾ لَاَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُ بِالۡيَمِيۡنِۙ﴿۴۵﴾ ثُمَّ لَقَطَعۡنَا مِنۡهُ الۡوَتِيۡنَ ۖ﴿۴۶﴾ فَمَا مِنۡكُمۡ مِّنۡ اَحَدٍ عَنۡهُ حَاجِزِيۡنَ﴿۴۷﴾ وَاِنَّهٗ لَتَذۡكِرَةٌ لِّلۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ﴿۴۸﴾ وَاِنَّا لَنَعۡلَمُ اَنَّ مِنۡكُمۡ مُّكَذِّبِيۡنَ﴿۴۹﴾ وَاِنَّهٗ لَحَسۡرَةٌ عَلَى الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ﴿۵۰﴾ وَاِنَّهٗ لَحَـقُّ الۡيَقِيۡنِ﴿۵۱﴾ فَسَبِّحۡ بِاسۡمِ رَبِّكَ الۡعَظِيۡمِ﴿۵۲﴾

Surah Key Verses
٧ سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَيَالٍ وَثَمَانِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُومًا فَتَرَى الْقَوْمَ فِيهَا صَرْعَىٰ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٍ
7 Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees.
١٦ وَانْشَقَّتِ السَّمَاءُ فَهِيَ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاهِيَةٌ
16 And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm.
١٧ وَالْمَلَكُ عَلَىٰ أَرْجَائِهَا ۚ وَيَحْمِلُ عَرْشَ رَبِّكَ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ ثَمَانِيَةٌ
17 And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them].
١٩ فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَيَقُولُ هَاؤُمُ اقْرَءُوا كِتَابِيَهْ
19 So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, “Here, read my record!
٣١ ثُمَّ الْجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ
31 Then into Hellfire drive him.
٣٢ ثُمَّ فِي سِلْسِلَةٍ ذَرْعُهَا سَبْعُونَ ذِرَاعًا فَاسْلُكُوهُ
32 Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him.”
٤٤ وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ الْأَقَاوِيلِ
44 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings,
٤٥ لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِالْيَمِينِ
45 We would have seized him by the right hand;

Explanation And Back Ground
This Surah has 52 verses divided into 2 Rukus/Sections. It takes its name from verse 1: “الْحَاقَّةُ,” meaning “The Undeniable Reality.” This Surah was revealed in Mecca most probably during the early days of Muhammad’s proclamation of his prophethood.
The Surah tells about the previous generations and people of past prophets that how was their end. It tells about the fate of Ad, Thamud and Pharaoh, and Indirect Mention Of Nuh’s people And His Boat which was Made A Token For Mankind. Then there is a detailed depiction of the Last Day. First, the end of the universe and destruction of heaven and earth presented and later a few verses about the Judgement that would result in rewards and punishment. In the end, it tells that this message Quran is not a poetry of a poet and something made up by the Prophet himself; it is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds.
The Prophet of God PBUH said: One who recites this Surah, God takes an easy account from him.
