About Nadeem Sarwar:

Nadeem Sarwar is a world-popular Noha Khwaan from Karachi, Pakistan, a Naat, Manqabat reciter, and poet. Sarwar rose to fame in the early 1980s when his Nohas became popular around the world which earned him international recognition and popularity amongst Shia Muslims. His recitation is popular in Asian and Muslim countries wherever the Shia or Suni community lives.

Sarwar started reciting Noha when he was just four along with his mother and from there he has never looked back. He has released several singles during the course of his career and most of them are popular to this date. His recitation comprises Kalaams of renowned poets like Rehan Azmi, Mir Anis, and Mirza Dabeer. His two sons are also famous reciters.

His Noha is usually recited and listed by millions of Muslims during the month of Muharram. His major part of Noha collections is in Urdu but he has also recited in other languages like Sindhi, Sariki, Punjabi, Pushto, Pourbi, Hindi, Gujarati, Persian, Arabic, English, and French.

When it comes to his early life, not much is known in terms of Nadeem’s family, siblings, and childhood. His parents are Syed Asrar Hussain Rizvi and Syeda Nargis Khatoon

He’s married and has three children; two sons –Ali Shanawar and Ali Jee Sarwar and one daughter. Details about his wife are unknown.

Nadeem has recited in different languages such as Urdu, Sindhi, Sariki, Punjabi, Pushto, Pourbi, Hindi, Gujarati, Persian, Arabic, English, and French.

Sarwar has recited Nauha in many different ways Matam like Persian Matam, Arabic Matam, Quetta Matam, Parachanar Matam, Afghan Matam, Sariki Matam, Punjabi Matam, Sindhi Matam, Hyderabad Dakkan Matam, Khoja Shia Ithna Asheri Saf Matam. Nadeem Sarwar has recited a total of 179 Kalaam up to date.

He has traveled worldwide to promote Azadari, including Pakistan, India, UAE, the Middle East, Europe, the USA, The UK, and Canada.
